I offer items for any decor, whether it's shabby or chic, country or romantic, Paris or cottage ~ you'll be sure to find something special, here.
For the last 2 years I've had a space at a craft and antique mall in Livonia, Michigan (see above) called The Townpeddler. When I started out, it was all about shabby, chic, romantic and Paris. But recently I've incorporated another extreme, which is primitive country ~ realizing that I was leaving out the other half of the population of women who happen to love this style, and rightfully so! There's nothing like a farmhouse kitchen or that back porch flair ~ and so you will also find a 'lil country department in my store ~ whether it be at The Townpeddler or right here.
It's been a lot of hard work and quite a labor of love, but I have such a passion for antiques, that I have come to know quite a lot about the history of some pieces, now ~ but will probably never know as much as my cousin, who is the pro ~ is able to rattle off the name of just about any item, what era it was from (down to the year), who it was manufactured by, and so on and so on. One day real soon I'll be taking some pictures of her "studio" and post them ~ you won't know where to turn your focus next! Her space is really a treasure to see!!
